“True love manifests as the willingness to serve the highest good of the other and the honoring of the other’s innate goodness. Such love is not the fruit of self-esteem, ego strength, or psychological insight. Authentic love is neither self-generated nor born of our human willfulness. Love Is God. Therefore, the capacity to love always flows from God. If we want to love others, we must first love God and exist in the stream of God’s love. We enter into this stream in and through prayerful meditation. From a state of loving communion with God, love naturally flows from us to others. We do not love with our own love; we love with God’s love. There is no such thing as my love or your love: there is only God’s love.

Divine Guru,
Never let me think
That I have the capacity to love
Apart from you.
