Monday: This week, we will be exploring the importance of having a personal mission statement, but first, we must step back and look at our perceptions. If we don’t take responsibility for how we see the world, then we will continue to be driven by the blind forces of our conditioning, unconscious drives, and karmic patterns.

Tuesday:  If we want to fully avail ourselves of all the grace that is available we must practice absolute wakefulness. In order to remain awake, we must have a clearly articulated mission statement. Without a mission statement, we tend to be driven by the winds of our circumstances, moods, and habitual tendencies—what the yogis refer to as karma.

Wednesday: Following your bliss is about listening to your soulful aspirations. What gives you a sense of meaning and purpose in your life? When do you experience life as deep and rich?

Thursday: Today, I want to explore a very important principle in the context of a personal mission statement: the creative power of thoughts and words. Everything that humans have ever created began with a thought, a word, and an articulated vision.

Friday: If we are truly listening to the dictates of our soul, aware of our personal mission statement and trying to fulfill our soul’s deepest aspirations, we will undoubtedly experience resistance. At times, the resistance might be external as people and situations push against what we want to experience in our lives. At other times, the resistance will be internal; our own fears and weaknesses will sap our determination to fulfill our mission statement.
