We must understand that supreme grace, that most powerful grace, will only act in our lives on the conditions of light and truth; it will not act in conditions we lay upon it by falsehood, manipulation, and ignorance. Grace demands radical self-honesty. We must remember that the egoic-personality is not interested in truth, but in comfort and the illusion of control. Grace is not an impersonal force, but the dynamic will of God operating within creation, within time and space. Thus, grace cannot yield to our unenlightened opinions and ideologies because that would then defeat its own purposes. In simple terms, to whatever degree that ignorance and denial are operative in our lives, we block the flow of grace. Grace is truth; and, truth is grace.
Grace demands
My radical self-honesty.
