Living a Magnificent and Divine Life

The Path of Kriya Yoga

Anselm, a saint from the 11th century, tells us, “The glory of God is a man or woman fully alive.” We have not been created to sleep walk through life, to live a mechanical or fated existence. Rather, we have been genetically and spiritually gifted to experience life’s deepest and most joyous mysteries. Furthermore, each one of us has the capacity to express the necessary wisdom, strength, and love in order to live a full and rich and robust life–a life reflecting the glory of God.

Yogananda tells us, “If you really want to escape those decrees of fate that have caused you suffering, you have no greater recourse than meditation.” Kriya Yoga is a spiritual path that grounds us in time-tested meditation practices, a wholesome lifestyle, and a way of moving through the world that teaches how to make the words of Jesus a living reality in our lives, “I have come to bring you life and life abundantly.” Please join us for a retreat experience that promises to inspirational, empowering and fun.

We will learn and explore:
• Various meditation techniques that we can implement in our day-to-day lives
• How to live each day in a mindful, alert and focused manner
• Methods of shifting our awareness in ways that energize us
• Practicing the presence of God in any and all circumstances
• The significance of the Guru-disciple relationship
• Constructive ways to handle difficult or painful challenges
• Investigate ways of nurturing what the Bible refers to as “the peace that surpasses all understanding”
