“Man does not live by bread alone.” Jesus
We say that God is Love, and this is a true statement. However, it is also true that God is unadulterated Beauty, and this Beauty is what we are really striving for in all of our religious and spiritual yearning. We can have all the fame and fortune our hearts desire, but our souls will still be dissatisfied because we were made for Beauty. I am not referring to a pretty face, designer clothes, or the latest fad in home decorations. The Beauty I am talking about is hard to define but easy to recognize. Real Beauty lifts us out of the prison of self-preoccupation. Real Beauty heals us of our melancholy, hopelessness, and listlessness. Real Beauty elevates the human spirit, inspires the imagination, and heals the heart. Doesn’t real Beauty bring us into the experience of bliss? Today, establish a relationship with Beauty; bring Beauty into your life. Be grateful for the Beauty surrounding you. To the degree that you do this, your search for God will come to an end, because God is Beauty and Beauty is God.

If I am open to learning
What Beauty really is.
