A Season of Hope
Celebrating the Mystical Christ
No matter how bleak the circumstances in the world or in our personal lives might be, we are called to be people of profound hope. Hope is neither wishful thinking nor mere optimism. Hope is the very light of Christ piercing the darkness of despair and degeneration. As such, hope is literally a heavenly force that empowers us to stand strong during life’s worst storms. And finally, Hope gives us a glimpse of a God-ordained future whereby love triumphs over fear, anger and ignorance.
Join us for a one-day retreat, as we unlock the hope-filled teachings of Jesus Christ and Paramahansa Yogananda. Through meditation, contemplation and inspired teachings, we will allow God’s light to swell our hearts with hope, faith and love. The day promises to be practical, inspiring and enjoyable.
We will learn and experience:
• Meditations to bring us into contact with God’s light
• The process of contemplating statements of truth and wisdom as a way of overcoming fear and despair
• Strategies to face difficult and challenging circumstances
• The practice of mindfulness in the midst of painful emotions
• Development of dynamic will power to overcome obstacles
