Dear Assisi Family,
For over a year now, we have all been deeply challenged by the COVID pandemic, individually and collectively. The Assisi Institute has faced some steep challenges, yet through God‘s grace, the guidance of the gurus, and the ingenuity of our members, we have found ways to thrive. Even though we have not been able to meet in person, we have expanded our capacity to touch the lives of people through the various forms of technology available to us. I’m happy to say we have been able to nurture the spiritual lives of our members and to reach more and more people beyond the borders of Rochester. Our mission is thriving!
In order to reach people through the various avenues of social media, we have had to make some significant capital expenditures. We’ve been able to do this because of your wonderful generosity. Thank you! However, our work is not finished. Even though we may be seeing light at the end of the pandemic tunnel, society will not be returning to the old normal. We will need to continually improve our capacity to reach people in a virtual manner. So, I am humbly asking you to make a donation to our Higher (Online) Power Appeal. Your generous donation in any amount, no matter how large or small, will allow us to continue to serve the needs of our members and to reach more and more people across the globe. More than ever, Yogananda’s message of Self and God-realization, right living, and unity among people of differing backgrounds is desperately needed.
