We have all had genius-like moments, occasions where we were guided by a creative intuition, an imaginative form of intelligence, or a flash of profound insight. In these moments, we were not merely mimicking something we heard or witnessed from other people. There is a freshness, an energy to these types of perceptions. They should not surprise us because creation is filled with intelligence. For example, each cell in our bodies has eight billion codes of instructions that guide its functioning and help to keep us alive. What is the source of this life-giving, life-sustaining intelligence? It is the “Logos,” the very mind of God permeating every speck of creation. You and I have access to this creative intelligence. Yoga means union. Union with what? The answer is both simple and profound: union with the consciousness, creativity, and genius of God. Through intuition born of humility, silence, and prayer, we grow our capacity to download God’s finest guidance. What the world needs now is not more tired ideology, but those fresh inspirations that emanate from the mind and heart of God.
