POOJA SINHA

Pooja Sinha has been practicing Kriya Yoga for 10 years. She graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in Economics, a MS in Marketing, and a MBA in Brand Management. Currently employed by Gorbel in Victor NY as a Product Marketing Manager, Pooja is also president of the board at The Assisi Institute and teaches the Kriya Lifestyle class monthly.

Raised a Hindu, Pooja claims she was drawn to Yogananda’s message because the similarities between Kriya Yoga and mystical Christianity felt natural and real. Shortly after becoming a Kriyaban she felt a deepening of her love for the Gurus and a closeness to Jesus she had never experienced. She loves that we simply have access to God through our breath and tries daily to draw her strength, discernment, integrity, and love from that space of God communion within.
