Monday: The Hindu sage Sri Aurobindo tells us, “Grace is something spontaneous which wells out from the Divine Consciousness as a free flow of its being.” Therefore, grace is not something we earn; it is simply given, each and every moment of our existence.
Tuesday: For sure, without the grace of the Divine nothing can be done, but for God’s full and unbridled grace to manifest we must make ourselves ready.
Wednesday: Grace demands radical self-honesty. We must remember that the egoic-personality is not interested in truth, but in comfort and the illusion of control.
Thursday: This is the point: supreme grace can turn difficulties into opportunities, failures into success, and powerlessness into power. However, supreme grace can manifest in our lives only to the degree we are emptied of egoic influences and surrendered to the will of God.
Friday: Everything that the Guru teaches and directs us to do helps to purify us, to prepare the way for the flow of grace, and to put us in a state of grace when we are ready for it.
