Monday: When it comes to the experience of God, a different kind of knowing is needed, what Yogananda terms “intuition.” To know God in an experiential or intuitive way is to embody the very life and love of God within our awareness and thus to become God-like.
Tuesday: We must let go of what we think should happen, what we want to happen, and what we often insist on happening. This deeper level of surrender empowers us to participate in what is going to happen, what really needs to happen, what God wants to happen.
Wednesday: Authentic intuition necessarily takes us not only into God’s unfathomable bliss but also into God’s deepest suffering. God suffers because we suffer.
Thursday: Inspired action is intuition in motion. We do not learn to swim by watching videos about swimming; eventually, we have to jump into the water. We might clumsily flail about for a period of time, but such a struggle is necessary or we will sink to the bottom.
Friday: Seeing and knowing God is not just for a few fortunate souls, but everyone. We have been created to live our lives from a place of conscious communion with God, not only in a future heaven, but here and now.
