Monday: We take for granted a profound mystery that unfolds within us each of us every day of our lives: our capacity for conscious awareness.

Tuesday: Enlightened scientists and the world’s mystics know that “Consciousness” gave rise to matter and guided the process of evolution, ultimately resulting in our capacity for embodied awareness. What does this understanding mean for you and me on a day-to-day basis?

Wednesday: We have all had genius-like moments, occasions where we were guided by a creative intuition, an imaginative form of intelligence, or a flash of profound insight. In these moments, we were not merely mimicking something we heard or witnessed from other people. There is a freshness, an energy to these types of perceptions. They should not surprise us because creation is filled with intelligence.

Thursday: In order to tap into the stream of inspired intelligence, the very mind of God, we must let go of all that we think we know; we must let go of our constructs and agendas. Then, we must practice prayerful and meditative silence.

Friday: Our awareness is most often not neutral. We choose to see what we want to see, to notice what is important to us, and to attend to what is most central to our agendas. Therefore, our awareness is always limited and guided by our prejudices. The essential question is this: do we want what we want, or do we want the truth?
