Monday: Yogananda tells me that trials bring out greater and greater experiential knowledge of my oneness with the Divine. I have to face the fire of life’s trials so that they will burn away what is impeding God’s love from flowing through me and out into the world.

Tuesday: I went from being in an unconscious state, just going through the motions, to a present, awake state that felt like floating in an ocean of joy, gratitude, hope, and peace.

Wednesday: This is an age of misunderstanding where half-truths prevail. How easily swayed we can be leaning on our own understanding instead of making the effort to comprehend God’s truth! Otherwise, we are left to our own interpretations
of the world.

Thursday: This story is simple because God is simple. We can experience the Divine presence in everything we do, hear, and come in contact with if we choose to attune ourselves to that light. We do this through the practice of Bhakti (devotion), meditation, and silence.

Friday: Breathing in was the very first thing I did in this life, and it will be the very last thing I will ever do. Breathing is simple, but not always easy! It can actually be painful, both physically and mentally, to take a deeper, slower breath.
