It is time for us to begin or renew our sponsorships for the year. Our beloved Swami Nirvanananda gives so much to our community with his gentle presence at our zoom classes and the holy energy of his music. We are honored to support his work with the Shantipuri Friends Foundation which cares for the children of the Mercy Village Leper Colony in Puri. In this past year, our Assisi community collectively sponsored 68 children at a cost of $120 per year (plus a few dollars more if you use Paypal). Those who sponsor receive a personal letter from their child. If you are not comfortable with a full-year sponsorship, donations of any amount are most welcome; our American dollars do a great deal of good in India.
