Monday: Imagine a life free of chronic fear and shame, a life without the debilitating stories we have of ourselves. Imagine waking up each morning knowing that God is with you and that heaven is supporting all your noble endeavors

Tuesday: The more evolved a person is, the more subtle and dangerous is the temptation to hubris or spiritual vanity. The truly evolved person knows their own shadow because life has humbled them.

Wednesday: Both Yogananda and the Bible teach that God is love, and they both teach that we have been created in God’s image. Therefore, at the deepest layer of our being, we too are love. Yet we humans live from and also identify with our surface self.

Thursday: One of the best metaphors I have ever heard for the soul is the multifaceted diamond. The soul is indeed a multifaceted reality. Among those facets are wisdom, strength, endurance, compassion, joy, peace, intuition, discernment, and, of course, love.

Friday: How do we know we are living from our souls? For the sake of brevity, today I will focus on one particular soul quality: depth. By depth I am not referring to one’s intellectual abilities, intensity of emotion, or passionate vitality. Soulful depth reveals the very essence of God.
